Basilur Tea - Gin & Tonic Tea
The Gin & Tonic Collection for Basilur Tea was an ambitious and highly distinctive gifting range that combined the world of premium tea with the contemporary appeal of gin-inspired flavours. Created as a collection of four beautifully presented tins, the range was designed to deliver strong visual impact through intricate embossing, vibrant colour palettes, and exceptional attention to detail, resulting in a packaging experience that felt both luxurious and contemporary.
Each blend within the collection offered a unique flavour profile, including Berries, Mint, Forest Fruits, and the classic Earl Grey. The concept introduced an innovative twist to traditional tea drinking by incorporating references to the botanicals and flavour characteristics often associated with gin and tonic, creating a range that felt fresh, sophisticated, and unlike anything else within the category.
Our design approach focused on creating a visually rich and highly tactile experience. The intricate embossed detailing brought depth and craftsmanship to every tin, while the vibrant colours gave each flavour its own distinctive personality without compromising the cohesion of the overall collection. Alongside the individual tins, the range was complemented by Basilur's famous Tea Book format, which contained an assortment of flavours and further elevated the gifting proposition, reinforcing the brand's reputation for unique and memorable tea presentations.
The final collection successfully balanced premium quality with contemporary appeal, offering consumers an exciting fusion of tradition and innovation. The project proved to be extremely successful, receiving an outstanding response from customers and becoming a popular addition to Basilur's extensive portfolio of luxury teas and gifting products. Through its combination of bold design, intricate finishing techniques, and imaginative flavour concepts, the Gin & Tonic Collection further strengthened Basilur's position as one of the leading names in premium tea gifting.
